I friended someone on facebook. We talked one thing led to another we were seeing each other online. She wanted money for a new laptop to talk and webcam. So I sent her a couple hundred dollars that was dumb of me. When she got it she said it was short by a few hundred dollars. So’ far she hasn’t got new laptop. I really think I was scamed because the name I sent the money to was different than her actual name. Plus I wrote stuff on her Facebook page saying that we were an item then the real girl blocked me on Facebook. The imposter tried to say I blocked her. So I refriended her after she wanted to be friends again. But the last draw was she wanted more money to help her grandma she said I was her only hope I’ve seen pictures of the real gal on Facebook and from what I saw she looked like a model who had lots of money so I believe I was scammed. She would never tell me anything about herself. I told her about me, I googled the other name and it turned out to be a man who is either a doctor or a scam artist. I called it quits because all that person wanted was money and they didn’t care about me. I just thought I’d let you know that it happened to me to. You have a good day now.
