I always email back to anyone who sends me a J-date email a polite response “thank you for your email. Good luck in your search for love”. I think there is no excuse to not respond to an email on a dating site even if it “is the norm”. I think it is time to make our own changes with the dating sites. As for not showing up on a date, unfortunately I have had little interests by men in me to set up a date. However, I do think many of the men on line are Catfish. as soon as I say let’s SKYPE they are never heard from again. I also immediately set up a phone call with interested men. Only catfish appear to want only to text.
